Illusion

My mind cannot be left alone.
Tied to this world it is left to wander,
It invariably will create a reality that
Could be, but has never been.

It will treat this as reality, as truth.
It will layer feelings and emotions and sentiments
Onto the unwilling.

If left to itself it can paralyze.
Either have me cut off from reality or tied to it,
But let me not wander in imagination.

I cannot speak truth if half of what I know if from my mind.
