we are not the bar. we only set the bar. we cannot be the bar because we must strive to reach the bar. no one is perfect and though we know that to be true, that doesn't deter us for asking for something akin to perfection. even if we don't live up to the standards we set doesn't mean that we can't hope someone else will.
